The Uplands Hotel & Restaurant is situated just outside the beautiful medieval village of Cartmel, near Grange-over-Sands, at the southern edge of the English Lake District; and it is open all year-round.

Cartmel, and the surrounding country of the Furness Peninsula, offer respite from the hustle and bustle of the central Lake District, but are still within easy reach of Lake Windermere.
